Midnight Mooo-n Walk For Hospice

 Following the success of the first ever MK Midnight Moo in 2009, Willen Hospice is delighted to be organising an even bigger event again for 2010. The 10 mile walk for ladies will start at midnight on Saturday 17th July from Midsummer Place Shopping Centre and follow a circular, well-lit and marshalled route along the redways in Milton Keynes.

Bletchley Park, home to the codebreakers of World War Two, has launched its 2010 programme of events, which includes a range of fun-filled and action-packed activities to suit everyone, from families and computer geeks, to film buffs and plane spotters! As well as many of the old favourites, new events for this year include a Vintage Computer Fair, Armed Forces Day and Golden Age of Cinema.

 Mamer, one of China's most innovative and influential young artists, is to return to the UK together with his band for an 8-date tour, starting on 18 March 2010. Hailing from Qitai County in Northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, Mamer (pronounced "Ma-moor") grew up, like every Kazakh child: on horsebacks and in the strong musical tradition of the Kazakhs his father and relatives taught him to sing folk songs and play the dombra, a lute popular in Central Asia.
