Architecture MK - Architecture MK LogoArchitecture MK is the home of the councils Architecture, Design, Surveying and Property Maintenance teams.

We aim to provide a design orientated, customer focused, cost effective and timely building design, surveying and maintenance service to Milton Keynes Council and other public or voluntary sector bodies.

Professional expertise is offered from one centrally located, multi disciplinary environment and offers the services detailed below.

New Facilities at Saxon Court

Architecture MK - Facilities HandoverThe Council office refurbishment and moves programme has been continuing with a programmed series of works and moves in both Saxon Court and Civic Offices.
Refurbishment works at the rear of the lower ground floor of Saxon Court are now complete and provide enhanced accommodation for Facilities and Postroom staff as well as enabling a larger volume of deliveries to be handled safely. In addition we have provided new changing rooms and showers for staff use.

Turf Cutting at Caroline Haslett

Architecture MK - Turf Cutting at Caroline HaslettPupils and staff at Caroline Haslett School took part in the turf cutting, on 19 March 07, for an exciting new project starting on thier school site, the project comprises of three new specialist teaching classrooms with a covered external area plus storage, staff parking and plant facilities too.

The sod cutting for Tattenhoe Park Primary School took place on Friday 10th August. The school is due to open in September 2008 and will be a primary school offering 420 places for children aged 3 - 11.

The Surveying and Maintenance team have recently completed an project to rationalise Council Office Accommodation and bring together staff from satellite offices across Milton Keynes at Tower Drive Centre, Neath Hill. Click below to see how the project developed.
