The Ark Charity
The Ark Charity has been providing safe and supported accommodation for homeless and vulnerable young people in the Milton Keynes area for over 25 years. In addition to hostel accommodation at Wolverton, The Ark also provides "move-on" accommodation in self contained flats and outreach facilities. The Ark Charity was chosen as The Mayors Charity 2002-2003.

Milton Keynes Energy Agency

Set up in 1998 by Milton Keynes Council and the National Energy Foundation with the support of the European Union. The Agency has set up Buckinghamshire Energy Efficiency Advice Centre to advise householders on all aspects of energy use. It holds a range of leaflets about saving energy and makes referrals to grant schemes. The Agency operates a free telephone helpline 0800 512012. www.mkea.org.uk
